Shutter SpeedMotion | Freeze | Blur
Shutter speed has the ability to stop motion, or create motion blur, upon your willing. A slower shutter speed (1/30 and below) will blur your moving subject, in order to create a sense of motion in a still photograph. A fast shutter speed (1/60 and above) allows the photographer to freeze motion completely. The tool I used was a camera put on the "Shutter Priority" setting, allowing me to control the shutter speed, while the other settings are balanced for me. The technique I used was to take a photograph with a very slow shutter speed, then a photograph using a faster shutter speed. |
